Harley-Davidson’s new 338cc bike: Harley-Davidson announced that its most affordable motorcycles will be powered by a 338 cc engine. For this, the manufacturer of American bikes joined the Chinese brand called Qianjang Motorcycle. Under the new alliance, Harley-Davidson will make 338cc scooters in China more affordable and export them to other markets around the world. The brand also issued an image of the prototype. Leaving aside the typical Harley Davidson cruise theory, the next 338C aircraft looks like a naked fighter in the streets.

Harley-Davidson’s new 338cc bike: The motorcycle will sit on a trellis frame, and you are expected to get distinctive pieces such as a headlamp with all the lights, a full set of digital devices, disc brakes with ABS on both ends and so on. In addition, you can also see the down-front forklifts with a mono background. The motorcycle is expected to come with a manicured exhaust that should look deeper. The new Harley-Davidson 338cc will be launched for the first time in China in late 2020, followed by a launch in other Asian markets. India’s debut of the most affordable Harley could happen sometime in 2021.

Qianjiang as a partner

Harley Davidson said he chose Qianjiang as a partner, with extensive experience in the development of small displacement motorcycles, the supply base and knowledge of emerging markets. Qianjiang is mostly controlled by Geely, a Chinese company that owns the Volvo car mark. Harley-Davidson, 116, known for his hard-working motorcycles, is trying to increase sales abroad and is struggling to modernize operations as his customer base advances.

The company said in 2018 it plans to launch light motorcycles in Asia and electric bikes worldwide, in an attempt to revive demand as it faces declining sales in the United States and the threat of expensive commercial interest rates. The motorcycle will compete primarily with the likes of Royal Enfield and it will be interesting to see if Harley beginners can record some of the impressive sales and spelling problems of the iconic maker.
